Well, in spite of all my best intentions, I fell "off the wagon" in terms of my determination to resume blogging. Fortunately, reviewing a copy of old e-mail correspondence rmeinded me and I'm trying to resume my previous commitment.
This past week I've been working on preparation (mainly reading papers) for the upcoming GMI board meeting. This is important since papers I'm reviewing are on the responsibility of board members.
GMI uses a board structure which largely follows the work of Carver who has written several books on Board Leadership. I've had an uneasiness about how Carver relates to Biblical principles of leadership.
Preparation for this meeting has helped me re-think my own concerns and also sharpen my understanding of what Carver is saying. I'll have more to say after I finish preparation for the Friay-Saturday meetings.
